About Us
How We Started and Where We Are Headed
At MISGO UK, our mission is to provide health and well-being support to both survivors of human-trafficking and County Lines workers, utilising our Board's extensive global network within the security sector and beyond.
It was on these core objectives that Moms in Security Global Outreach was founded, in the USA in 2022, by our Executive Director, Elisa Mula (EMD). They serve as the cornerstone of our mission as we move forward in the UK, building upon their legacy. MISGO UK Director, Brenda Koesterman (Convergint) says;
"By fostering strong partnerships and combining our dedication and ambition, we are committed to supporting victims through every stage of rebuilding their lives with dignity, safety, and hope for a brighter future."
Our goal is to support and empower survivors by collaborating with established UK-based charities, offering financial resources to strengthen frontline initiatives. This includes, but is not limited to, funding both existing and new projects, advocating for legal reforms, and supporting key training for law enforcement. Additionally, we are dedicated to ensuring that victims of human trafficking in the UK have access to innovative technological solutions that are crucial for their recovery and rehabilitation.
Through targeted fundraising and sponsorship of key business, educational, and social events, alongside the support of our industry partners, we are committed to making a meaningful impact in disrupting the criminal networks that exploit vulnerable individuals across the UK, including those involved in human trafficking, forced labour, and county lines drug dealing networks.
